Rotapia

Delivery and logistics Delivery and logistics vehicle tracking

Every vehicle that leaves the depot is on the map. Customers check the link instead of calling to ask where the courier is; fuel burnt while idling and speeding are reported to you instantly.

An ordinary day

What does Rotapia take on for this fleet?

  1. The van leaves the depot

A depot-exit alert arrives; the day's first movement is on record.

  2. Long idling

Engine on, vehicle standing for 15 minutes. You know before the fuel is wasted.

  3. A customer is waiting

Answer “where's my courier?” with a link. The customer sees the van on the map and stops calling.

  4. Speeding

You set the limit: alert if 90 km/h is exceeded for 30 seconds. It warns once, it doesn't nag.

  5. Daily report

Every vehicle's trips, stops, distance and first and last movement in one table.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions

Can my customer see where the courier is?

Yes. Tap the vehicle and choose Share; when the customer opens the link they see the vehicle on a live map. The link closes when the time you chose runs out.

How do I see how far my vehicles drove today?

The daily report shows each vehicle's distance, trips, stops and first and last movement. The period report gives monthly totals; both export to Excel.

Do I set the idling alert duration myself?

Yes. In the alert rule you choose the duration and which vehicles it applies to.
